Over many years now, World of Warcraft's numbers have gotten ever larger. This is to be expected in a progression-based RPG that has run for so long, however at some point the numbers related to damage, health, healing, and mana got so big and unwieldy that a debate started to appear: To keep the numbers low (a squish) or to keep the numbers getting larger.
This addon takes that decision out of the hands of Blizzard by effectively multiplying all of these values before addons can use them with a constant factor that depends on your character's current level.
Several progression curves have been added, though at this time numbers are certainly imperfect, and more work is needed. The goal is that a max level character should have as much health and mana as an average character did during that expansion. This isn't entirely possible due to the changes to how gear works, but an approximation has been made.
Currently, this addon is incompatible with the default UI. To use it, you must use non-standard unit frames and damage and healing texts. This is why it is called alpha. It is currently unclear if this problem can be fixed. I recommend SCT, MSBT, NameplateSCT, etc. The addon is compatible with all unit frame overhauls, such as PitBull, ElvUI, TukUI, ShadowedUF, Gladius, etc. but it is not compatible with partial overhauls such as UnitFramesImproved.
When set up correctly, the end result is vastly more readable numbers, which I think a lot of people will appreciate, so I am sharing it with the world.
This is an alpha, and I invite people who want to help to help. Contact me via Curse/Twitch to talk further about improving it. Hopefully we'll get ready for a release soon.
The addon currently only works for English.
