Reset Guide error

So I was trying to finish the Icecrown guide and it got to that Free Your Mind quest that caused an error...the same error I read down the list that showed it was resolved. I'm not sure if that one is resolved or not, as I couldn't reset the guide after deleting my WTF folder.

This is about the resetting the guide error though. I was trying to do the Icecrown guide to finish off the Northrend quest area, but it showed it was on like 1xx/5xx. i don't remember the exact numbers on the guide, but I did copy the entire error. It happens when I try to reset the guide on any of the guides if they're already in progress. Here is the error it shows:

I did clear my entire WTF folder btw and tried resetting the guide and it still gave me the same error. Just wanted to be clear that I did try to get the most common things outta the way. Disabling mods, deleting the WTF folder, trying it out on another character, etc.. Same error given everytime.

Alrighty, thanks very much for the report. Are you using the live version (the compiled version linked from WoW-Pro and WoW Interface, etc) or the in development version from gitthub?

Will do. I'll keep an eye on your progress over the next few days. Also, not sure if I should start another bug report or not, but I've noticed I'd had to rely on Lightheaded alot more for the Icecrown quests. I've went through the coding and seen most of the quests don't contain the same coding as the other zone guides...meaning they're missing coordinates which is the reason I'm guessing that the waypoint arrow from TomTom won't show up. Is that cause the icecrown guide was rushed or is it an error on my part and something else causing the arrow not to show?

I had downloaded the version 1.2.1 from the curse website. Should I uninstall and try perhaps the compiled version from your site or wow interface or something?

No, I just needed to know exactly what version you had so I could tell whether or not the problem might already be fixed. About half the people posting here are using the in development version, the other half use what's up on curse and wow interface, so it gets confusing sometimes :D

I did change a few settings in the current in development version, which will hopefully fix the problem - though I'm still just not sure why this is happening to people in the first place (you aren't the only one who has reported it). I'm hoping to get it pushed to Curse tomorrow. It's probably easiest for you to just wait until then.

It just hasn't been updated yet. The version you have pulls the NPC coordinates from Lightheaded, but nothing else, sadly. However, if you turn on Blizzard's quest POIs on your world map, our addon should be able to pull from those. It's a good temporary solution until we can put in the coords ourselves.
