Addon causing very specific momentary lag

I'm very confused as to why, but after spending nearly an hour enabling and disabling addons, I was able to discover that when I have WoWPro v1.7.0 enabled on one specific character, I experience a nearly 2 second lag spike upon entering or leaving combat on said character.
I don't have any problems with the addon enabled with my alliance characters on Uldum, regardless of level. However, with my blood elf paladin (in Ghostlands) on the Ysera server, I noticed the momentary lag spike occurs only when the WoWPro guides addon is enabled.
I disabled all other addons and tested WoWPro with and without TomTom v 40000-1.0.1 loaded, but the lag still occurs when I attempt to enter or leave combat. I rolled an orc warrior on Ysera to see if it was server related, but I could not recreate the issue. This issue began upon heading south from the Ruins of Silvermoon and has continued ever since.
I've tried to enable the scroll method for the addon but no change occured. The lag spike continues to occur.
This is quite odd. Any suggestions?
So it's only on the one character? Hmmm. Have you tried loading a different guide into WoW-Pro with that character? It may be something odd with the specific guide on that character.
We're going to be changing how we handle our combat lock-down shortly, so the issue may resolve itself then.
Thank you for your suggestion. I loaded Snpwflakes 01-12 Eversong Woods guide (completed) then went back to Snowflake's 12-21 Ghostlands guide (the one I'm having issues with). The lag still exists but is thankfully less than half a second in length upon entering or leaving combat (or switching targets while in combat) which I can live with.
Thanks again for the advice. :)
Basically what I was wondering is if the lag existed if you had a different guide loaded. IE: Load the Eversong woods guide, enter combat, and see if the lag happens.
If you feel like experimenting, that might tell us what the underlying issue is.
I just attempted to do so, loading the Eversong Woods guide and entered combat without the slightest hiccup. Switching back to the Ghostlands guide and entering combat I'm still experiencing a slight lag hit when entering and leaving combat.
Alrighty, sounds like it's an issue specifically with the Ghostlands guide. Since that guide will still be around in Cataclysm, it's something I'll definitely look into when I have some time.
Thanks a ton for checking for me!
