Hello All!
I have not been tanking for too long, but have been playing for quite some time. I decided to share my Elvui setup to help anyone who may be like me: you know how you want your UI to look, but can't quite get it setup just right. After countless uploads of other UI's, I started from scratch and built up a new UI from the ground up. I hope this helps some other players esp. prot warriors in their quest to become more active, attentive, and all around better players.
- I set up the frames so that as much information that is needed in combat is around the center of the screen, and non-combat info is more on the outside.
- The bars/auras grow down from the player frame, and boss frame.
- I set up the bars to match the width of the Ignore Pain WA bar (found here: https://wago.io/H1-_q6dUb ) and placed it above my health.
- I set up the spacing inbetween Player frame and Target frame to fit Nookie's Prot WA (found here: https://wago.io/E1s33K-cG )
- I use Details! for meters, Elkano's Buff bars for the top right info bars, MiniMap ButtonFrame to tuck in the minimap buttons
