Emphasis is on high visibility for cast bars, applied buffs (especially dispellable buffs), and debuffs.

PvP Considerations

PvP plates are specifically designed to allow for easy reading in arenas. Enemy players in combat have increased height to their health bars to make their combat status obvious. Out-of-combat players have thinner health bars.
