Penetrating Cold Warning

It helps you manage the 'Penetrating Cold' debuff and keep track of your CDs.

What It Does

  1. Tracks Your Class and Defensive Abilities: When you load the game or change your character, it records your class and the defensive abilities your class can use.

  2. Monitors 'Penetrating Cold' Debuff: It constantly checks if you are affected by the 'Penetrating Cold' debuff, a harmful effect that Anub'Arak casts.

  3. Helps Manage Defensive Abilities: It checks if your class's defensive abilities are ready to use (not on cooldown). If a defensive ability is active or ready, it will suggest you use it to counter the 'Penetrating Cold' debuff.

  4. Keeps Track of Healthstones: It keep tracks of if you have any healthstone, and prompt you to use it if no defensive ability is available to counter Penetrating Cold.

  5. Understands Encounter Phases: It knows when Anub'Arak casts 'Leeching Swarm' to start Phase 3 of the encounter, and it keeps track of when you leave combat to reset the phase tracking in order to only trigger the defensive ability suggestion on P3.

  6. Displays Helpful Icons: The tool will show you an icon for the suggested defensive ability or a Healthstone. If none are available, it will show a default icon. This can give you a quick visual clue about your best defensive option at any given time.

Cooldowns Suggestions

Here are the cooldowns that will be suggested:

  • PRIEST: Dispersion
  • ROGUE: Cloak of Shadows
  • PALADIN: Divine Shield
  • MAGE: Ice Block, Frost Ward
  • DEATHKNIGHT: Anti-Magic Shell
  • DRUID: Barkskin, Survival Instincts
  • SHAMAN: Shamanistic Rage

How To Use It

All these checks and alerts work in the background, so you can focus on the fight. The tool will show you an icon if you have the 'Penetrating Cold' debuff and a defensive ability or a Healthstone is available, and use a sound to warn you if you have to use them. The icon will suggest the best action to take. Just follow the suggestion to use your defensive ability or consume a Healthstone when you see the icon.

Remember, the tool only suggests actions when you're in Phase 3 of the Anub'Arak encounter. This is when 'Leeching Swarm' has been cast, and the 'Penetrating Cold' debuff can be especially dangerous.
