When you use survey in digsite it will show you how many of fragments you have to prevent you from overcapping, also shows how many inventory items you got. Only works for BFA digsited.
There is also a big icon showing up when you are standing on the spot where you can dig, when you are restoring artifacts you can see small box pop on your screen and it will tell you in chat how many restored artifacts you have.
