For DF, just use the DeathAlert addon by pingu_too on Curse instead.

This is a string that will alert you in a simple text display (with the person's name) on the screen whenever someone in your party/ raid dies.
It also will have a different sound for each role's death (tank, healer, dps).

Currently set to alert you in raids, dungeons, and scenarios. If you wish to change this, go to "Load" > "Instance Size Type" and uncheck the ones you don't want alerts in.
