Fadestorm Smart Shout
Fadestorm Smart Shout is an aura to track Battle Shout/Commanding Shout on yourself and party members. It is a complete re-write and expansion of Buff Battle Shout / Commanding Shout (https://wago.io/HFvEcUnu4) by Aurokin. The primary differentiating feature of this aura is capability to detect missing Battle Shout on melee-players of the hybrid classes (druid, paladin, shaman).
Features
- The display will indicate which group members lack Battle Shout (only melee are eligible) or Commanding Shout (all members are eligible). The assigned shout is based on the shout the player has cast last (defaults to Battle Shout).
- The aura learns the spec of hybrid-class groupmates based on the abilities they cast, similar to how PallyPower auto assignments (https://wago.io/WJPvDGRsn) works. Hybrid-class players who are confirmed to be melee are saved in WeakAurasSaved (saved to the user's computer) so it is not forgotten for future raids. Players which are not seen for a long time are ejected due to storage limitations. Players who are confirmed to be melee, but respec to non-melee spec will be ejected upon casting a talented non-melee spell. Players whose spec is not yet determined, but who cast melee abilities (e.g. Shred) are considered melee until proven otherwise and thus are eligible for Battle Shout.
- Distance to group members (in range of shouts) may be checked, if the option to do so is enabled. Players who are out of range will have their name colored to a custom color (defaults to red). Optionally those who are out of range can be hidden and disregarded.
- The aura will not display while resting. The aura can be toggled to display out of combat or while mounted through the custom options.
