Download the WAImages.zip file and extract to the Interface folder. If WoW is currently opened, you must restart the game to reload the texture resources. Place the WAImages folder and all subfolders/files in /._retail_/Interface/. The final directory structure should look like: .\_retail_\Interface\WAImages\Jailer\jailerpattern.tga

Description:

This weakaura displays a premade map of the Heroic Jailer platform in Sepulcher of the First Ones overlaid with triangles that which represent the three holes to drop the bombs in each bomb phase. Each section will flash with a red triangle corresponding to the current section that the boss should be tanked on if following this diagram. Due to the very scripted nature of the fight, the flashing triangles will automatically change to the next section until the beginning of Phase 2 and the map and triangles will disappear thereafter. The entire weakaura can be moved around the screen and the placements of the flashing triangles should stay in the same place relative to the map.

Options:

  • Hide Triangles?
    • When Checked, hides the flashing triangles marking the current section of the platform.

Limitations:

  1. Unfortunately you cannot link this weakaura through chat and expect it to work without getting the picture. For it to work properly, you must have the picture downloaded and placed in the proper directory.
  2. At this point in time it is not possible to resize the image in-game and have the triangles move and resize with respect to the changes to the map. If you need to resize it, you may have to readjust the triangles yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Q: The map is showing as missing/a green texture/blank/thing?
    • A: You need to download the image and place it in the proper directory. Please see the instructions at the top of this description.
  • Q: Does the picture go in the same folder that my Addons go in?
    • A: Its basically the same folder but not quite. Please see the instructions at the top of this description.
  • Q: Can I change the color of the Triangles?
    • A: Yes you can change the color of the triangles. Unfortunately there isn't an option to set them all at once, so you will have to open the group and change each triangle's color one by one. Sorry :/
  • Q: I want to resize the image but none of the triangles move and resize with it!
    • A: Unfortunately without major changes the map cannot be resized and have the triangles change with it. You might be able to get away with some small changes and have it work roughly the same but if you want to mage the diagram significantly large or smaller, there may be some issues with the placements. The timings will still the same regardless of the triangle position.
  • Q: Did you make the diagram of the platform?
    • A: I did not, I only formatted it to be used in a WeakAura. If you know who did, let me know and I'll add their information into this WeakAura to give proper attribution.
  • Q: My guild/pug group still can't get the correct bombs in the correct holes!
    • A: While this WeakAura can only help with placements and providing guidance as to where to put them, it does not help improve the players themselves. "You can lead a player to information, but you can't make them think."
  • Q: That last triangle is bad and it annoys me. Can you fix it?
    • A: Probably, but is it worth the effort? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
