Dear Pet Enthusiasts,
This aura automatically summons your non-combat pet so it stays by your side even when you zone between instances or fly somewhere.
Disclaimer: Summoning a pet incurs a GCD so on occasion you may notice it being brought out. I would not use it if you are speed-running a dungeon, so please set your load conditions accordingly! (The equivalent retail WA doesn't have this same problem because summoning a pet isn't on the global cooldown.)
Usage
Summon a pet. This will be the pet that gets pulled out "permanently" - the effect only works while
out of combat
not mounted / flying
not stealthed
the WA is disabled in arena/bgs
The pet you keep out is going to be the one you most recently summoned.
To dismiss
If you click the dismiss button in the pet journal & dismiss the pet, then this turns off the "permanent" effect . You'll have to manually take the pet out again. (Helpful for situations where a quest (like
[Blast the Gateway] in hellfire throne of KJ) requires you to have a pet out.)
