What does this WeakAura do?

As a Raid Leader, I'm sure that you have been in a situation where you are calling for a specific raid cooldown but it's never casted. Well, this is now in the past. There is no more need to yell in the voice chat "Mark! Hello! We need Rallying Cry!".

With this WeakAura, you can now send a visual notification (and an audio alert!) to the guild mate that you need to cast that raid cooldown.

Who should install this WeakAura?

All the guild members who can cast one of the supported raid cooldowns should install this WeakAura. For the complete spell list, see below.

How to use this WeakAura?

This WeakAura requires Method Raid Tools (formerly Exorsus Raid Tools) to be installed by the Raid Leader. To get the addon, visit https://www.curseforge.com/wow/addons/method-raid-tools. The addon has an option in the Raid Cooldowns section to whisper a raid member when you click on their bar. You can find that checkbox in the Appearance tab, under the Other Setup category as Send whisper-to-use to player on click.

As a Raid Leader or Raid Assistant you should be tracking the supported spells using the aforementioned functionality. When you want to request a specific raid cooldown, simply click on that icon. The WeakAura will notify the recipient by displaying an Icon with the spell that you requested.

FAQ

What happens if the Raid Leader requests a spell that is on cooldown?

Although Method Raid Tools has a feature to hide spells that are on cooldown, if you still receive a request for a spell that is on cooldown then no Icon will be displayed and a whisper will be sent back mentioning the current cooldown.

Can the WeakAura be abused by strangers?

The Icon will be displayed only if the whisper was sent from the Raid Leader or the Raid Assistant(s). In all other cases, the WeakAura simply ignores it.

Can I disable one of the supported spells?

To remove support for one of the spells (e.g., Stampeding Roar) and ignore any requests that you receive for it, go to the "Custom Options" tab of the WeakAura and uncheck the relevant checkbox.

Can I change the sound that I hear when the Icon is displayed?

To use a different sound go to the "Conditions" tab and change the Assist to the one you prefer. Just remember to do the same every time a new WeakAura update is released.

What if I don't want to use Method Raid Tools?

If you would like to use a different method to send these whispers, it is up to you. Just keep in mind that the whispers must be in the format Use <spell> to be detected. For example, "Use Tranquility".
