I found an alternative to this mod! It's AntiShadowPatch. It has some bugs, but it's work and has been updated to 1.21.x.

Is there any updates? Mod is really important for me, so I haven't update my game version yet. AntiShadowPatch isn't very good.

i've tried a couple of times to do a rewrite. as Mojang messed up a lot of the item handling code.
and them throwing semver out of the window does not help with maintainability at all.

i'm pondering to only release a compatibility version for the next MC versions w/o the ability to generate new shadow items
( i'll probably expose an API in case another mod wants to register new shadow items )
