There's no setting in the config to disable the little icons that appear in the hot bar wherever a Chisel & Bits tool is placed. This isn't the biggest deal, but is somewhat annoying when playing with minimal HUD as the icons appear even when the hot bar is disabled. It also seems to me that the icons do not serve much of a purpose as they can be very difficult to see behind the tool they are rendered for anyway, and the tool tips or tool GUI serves the purpose of telling the player what they have selected. As far as I can tell, this is still a problem in the latest version, though I have not installed that version and have been using the mod on 1.20.1.
