[BUG] Water from rain filling barrels don't trigger witch water transformation

ExDeorum Version: 2.8
Minecraft: 1.20.5
When putting water into a barrel with bucket above mycelium, it starts converting water into witch water.
However, if for instance the water is coming gradually from the rain, nothing happens.
I have to break the barrel, put it again, put a lid on top (to avoid that happening) and throw water manually.
