Sieving multiple blocks in different meshed sieves

Back in Ex Nihilo 1.16+, if you had a n*n of sieves and you switched one of the meshes out for a different tier, let's say you were upgrading them, after reapplying that mesh to the sieve "collective", the altered mesh would still be considered by the whole multiple sieves thing. That's missing in this mod, and it would be really cool to get that as then upgrading meshes would be more of an as you go process in stead of waiting for the ability to upgrade all of them. Sometimes you also want different tiered meshes for custom recipes by way of mods like KubeJS
I am basing the simultaneous sieves mechanic on 1.10 Ex Nihilo. This mechanic would be frustrating because players will accidentally waste sieve material on nearby lower tier meshes if the sieves are too close together.
what about reconfiguring the sieve closeness mechanic so that they have to be in a cluster? So if there's a single sieve with no sieves by it in either cardinal direction it won't propagate to nearby sieves, whereas if you have a cluster of 16 it'll do all 16 at once regardless of mesh type? Just a though
