Shader sky + Resource pack sun/moon

I'd like to be able to use the sun and moon from a resource pack, but don't want to lose the shader's sky. Adding another option to the 'Resource Pack Sky' setting to allow this would be nice.
not needed. the blending of the resourcepack sky just goes shader sky + RP sky
if the resourcepack does not have any textures on the sky, the sky will not be changed (because shader sky + nothing = shader sky
). so just use the sun and moon textures, and remove the sky textures
Editing the resource pack for this functionality isn't an ideal solution. I would still like it if the shader could do what I suggested, though I'll just do what you suggested, thanks.
Are you sure the shader works like you described? The resource packs I'm using don't have any sky textures yet the shader sky doesn't appear, even if I do disable the packs.
i dont understand what you mean? the shader sky is always on. there is no way to turn it off.
are you in some dimension other than the overworld? because only the overworld has the resourcepack sky support, i havnt done other dimensions yet.
oh.. the stars are gone, but the sky very much is there. i forgot the starts turn off. i might make the setting you requested after all.
