 Covenant. Resourcepack 1.12.2

3 years ago I got fed up with some textures in "John Smith's legacy" Texture pack and that's when and why I threw this together. I kept modifying it slightly every time I saw something in other texture packs that i thought fitted in with the style and I recently started redoing textures from some mods.

The aim was something that wasn't too far away from vanilla Minecraft so everybody could just switch to it and wouldn't be confused, but didn't look as bad as vanilla and since I mostly build medieval cities and castles the focus was on keeping it medieval. I uploaded this so I wouldn't have to e-mail every single member of my faction a .rar file when the joined in, but if someone wants to, feel free to use it. It's still a work in progress so any suggestions are appreciated. I am going to add mod support for some 1.12.2 mods like "Ice an Fire" and "Ancient Warfare 2"

...this is what it i did specifically so you get what it is made for and what the aim was.

I used John Smith as a base, removed everything that felt off to me, that i thought looked out of place or would make inconvenience players that weren't used to those textures and thus would have a harder time identifying them, primarily the some icons. Then I spend some time on and off searching for new textures to put in it. If i were to guess I used about 15 different packs which I haven't written down so sorry for not mentioning them here and giving credit but I think the two main ones are "John Smith's Legacy" obviously and "conquest".

The cobblestone slabs now resemble mosiac:

New textures for the Windmill and Waterwheel generators from AW2.

(We are really proud of these and as far as we know these two are the only retextures ever.)

The Screenshots were taken with Seus Renewed.

This is made alongside a modpack, please check it out if you like the Resourcepack. (https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/covenant-modpack )

Please leave a comment if you have any suggestions.

Have fun.

 Supported Mods.

We support the mods from my Modpack, we aren't quite finished but espect updates in a regular basis. (Keep in mind that we don't complete a mod and go to the next one on the list, we pick the assets we view as most important to change and go down the list from there.)

-Ancient Warfare 2

-Astikoor

-BetterNether

-CoralReef

-Rustic

-Waystones

-WildNature

-Ice and Fire

Important:

I use Ancient Warfare 2-2.6.1.298 (As far as I can tell they changed the texture file tree at one point but I don't know when so I don't know if it's compatible with your version, it could be. I just would vouch for it. Doesn't matter if you don't use that mod.)

Relaunch your session (I.E. disconnect or save and reload your save) when first selecting this resource pack or switching versions. Because it changes the models of trees it messes up the textures. just relaunch and the issue is resolved.
