1.9.3 Desert Village
1.9.3 Paintings
Classic Mega Man games are known for their unique artwork. The painting with all the Mets is probably my favorite.
1.9.3 Mob Select Screen
Mobs include Snolers, Skull Walkers, Mummiras, Robbits, Iron Balls, Poes, Big Tellys, and more!
Music Pack for Minecraft 1.7 - 1.9+
Music is a different matter though. I put in so much of it that I had to spin it off into its own resource pack, which you can also download here. I only got a good amount of sounds replaced too since I had so little to work with.
1.9.3 Villagers
It is recommended that you do NOT kill Rock if you meet him in person. His friends may not appreciate it.
1.9.3 Nether
See the 35 kinds of nether brick in this screenshot? Together they make this nether fortress look like a Wily fortress.
1.9.3 GUI
Doesn't the GUI make you feel like you're playing a fine classic of a game? It was originally rather plain in a way that was game-accurate, but I got tired of that and revamped it. As great as 9 and 10 were, staying in 8-bit just limits Mega Man's potentia
1.9.3 Vignette
One important change in 1.9 is that I finally fixed the vignette.png that everyone didn't like. It's now spread out to the edges of the screen so it isn't distracting.
1.9.3 Witches and Shulkers
New in 1.9: Sentry Shells and Copy Robots! They even walk around trying to recruit for Wily's army.
1.9.3 Bats
Battontons continue their tradition of appearing in inconvenient spots when you're trying to mine resources or stop other mobs from tearing your face off.
1.9.3 Colored Blocks
Unlike, say, the New Super Mario Bros. series, every Mega Man game has a unique look. No two levels are ever the same, and I strove to convey that by giving every single block a unique texture even where the vanilla resource pack doesn't.
1.9.3 Yadokargo Adaptation
I scoured every game for the smallest of details that were worth adapting.
1.9.3 Block Sources
Check out where some of this resource pack's textures came from. A lot of recoloring and editing was involved; this was not a lazy copy-and-paste job.
1.9.3 Texture Variety
I thoroughly exploited Minecraft 1.8's new randomized texture feature. Many individual blocks have quite a few variations in their graphics and animations, some more subtle than others.
1.9.3 Block Array
This is a complete retexturing. Every block, every item, every mob, every color map, every splash message on the title screen, and every environmental factor has been overhauled.
1.9.3 Rainbow Rushes
Sadly, your dog will not allow you to bypass traps and hazards, unless, perhaps, you're an absolute monster. But you'll at least be able to brew E-Tanks.
1.9.3 Items
Retexturing all the items was probably the hardest part. I worked on them gradually, doing a few more with each new release, until suddenly they were all done. Boy was I glad there were 10 main games and even more side games to mine for resources.
1.9.3 Title Screen
Good grief, I've been working on this pack for over three years now.
