Updated to 1.1: I increased the maximum size this brush can scale up to, so if you're doing full body stencils that typically take FOREVER to fill in, now it goes by much, much quicker. :) You're welcome!
The problem I have with brush replacers and the base game's brush is they leave streaky lines when you try to draw a second stroke. This is a huge pain when you can only see part of the animal and need to turn it to paint the front or the belly with stencils. You're always going to have an overlap, otherwise you would have a thin streaky gap between the strokes, and the overlaps have a hard visible line.
This is what I'm talking about:
A single stroke over part of a (actually EXTREMELY amazing) shine overlay stencil for horses by Kat's Bear Brook EC. The base HD horse shading effect is a toggleable coat length preset by me you can download here on curse forge.
If you try to 'make it work' by really adjusting opacity, it's a huge struggle and still liney.
My Brush
This brush is 100% opaque in the middle with a soft edge, then an additional SUPER SOFT broad fade out surrounding, so it is seamless and streak free!
Make sure to remove any DEFAULT brush replacer if you have one. This does not conflict any installed CC brushes you added such as brindle, dapple, paint markings, stamps, etc. It only affects the brush used for applying stencils, and the initial loaded-in brush when you first click paint mode. You can then toggle to any base game or installed brush you have.
