I started filling up wiki ( https://github.com/ForgeUI/ForgeUI/wiki ) with relevant information for v0.5. Stuff will maybe change a little bit, but basics are there and sample addon I created for this purpose is in my opinion quite good for understanding how things flow in v0.5

Of course I will be continuing with adding more information in the wiki so if you have any ideas post it here.
