Summary

This addon allows you to create a list of players you want to take into a raid ("roster"), and then automatically invite all players on the roster with one click.

Especially useful if your guild requires people to pre-register for each raid to secure a spot (e.g. through Discord Raid-Helper events), and you need to bench people, since only pre-registered people will be invited. This will also easily show who did not show up despite being registered. It's highly customisable and can serve any invite situation (opt-in world bosses, quick guild group building, etc.)!

Create your roster in advance, then start the "invite phase" to invite them to the raid. During this phase, the addon continuously attempts to re-invite people previously not available/offline - you don't need to chase people yourself! You can always see their current invite status in the addon (declined or missed invitation, offline, etc.)

Features

  • Self-invite by whispering a raid leader/assistant that has this addon. Invite requests from non-guildmembers or non-roster players can optionally be rejected.
  • Roster players can be assigned to raid groups, so during the raid event, the raid can be arranged with one click
  • Supports multiple roster lists
  • Roster lists can be synced between raid and guild members, and exported/imported to/from a text-based list (allows import from e.g. Discord Raidhelper events)
  • Automatically checks gear durability of people joining the raid and warns them when they have low durability (requires people to have DBM, Ora3 or similar installed)
  • Check the latest status update of each player to see when they joined/left the raid, came online/went offline, reason for an invite failure etc.
  • Auto-Converts group to raid
  • Auto-Set to Master Looter

Usage

Simply type /ric in chat to show/hide the addon window, or left-click the minimap icon. Then set up your roster, and press "Start invites" - and off you go! People will be automatically invited, even if they come online later. To stop the invites, just press the same button again!

Use "/ric help" to show a list of other commands.

Creating a roster

  • Directly add people to the roster from the guild member list
  • Manually add characters to the roster, even outside the guild
  • Import a whole list of characters (one line for each name) from a text file or a raid registration website so you can set up the whole roster in one go
  • Roster is saved permanently and across characters - no problem switching characters, even during invite phase. Just stop invite phase, switch chars and restart it

Explanation of status indicators

The roster frame willl show all people in the roster, as well as everyone in the raid, along with their current status using a small symbol. Below is an explananation of all symbols:

  • "Ready" - Person is in the raid and in the roster
  • "Extra" - In the raid, but NOT in the roster
  • "Not invited" - Person not in raid and not (yet) invited, but online
  • "Invite pending" - Person not in raid, but an invite was sent out and we are waiting for them to accept it
  • "Invite failed" - Person was invited, but invite failed for some reason, either because a) Person declined invite b) Person was already in group c) Person went offline
  • "Missing" - Not in raid, but in roster, and not online at the moment
  • "Other" - Unknown status (or status that is not captured by the above). One example: Someone not from your guild is on the roster, but not in the raid yet, so we cannot determine their online status to distinguish between "not invited" and "missing"
