ABANDONED
This project will no longer be updated, as i am no longer interested in developing it.
Mystica is a mod which aims to add magic-related items to your game, all connected back to one main biome. Mystica is in beta, and things are subject to change!
Requires GeckoLib!
(Modrinth page can be found here)
BIOMES
Enchanted Forest
The Enchanted forest is the main source of content throughout the mod. All things related to mystica are found here. You will be able to find unique features, such as falling leaves and luminous deer, as well as normal animals and allays. The Enchanted Forest is safer at night, as hostile mob spawns are decreased there.
MOBS
Luminous Deer
Luminous deer can be found commonly during night (they can spawn very rarely at day), and can drop Raw Lumison and Luminous Deer Antlers. Luminous deer are neutral, and will attack threats with its antlers, charging into them. Luminous deer glow in the dark, but don't give off any light levels (similar to the glow squid)
ORES
Alturite
Found exclusively in the Enchanted Forest, Alturite is a relatively rare metal that has toxic properties, and can be used to make equipment that can poison targets, but also needs luminous deer antlers. You can also make a staff with Alturite which shoots an orb of light, which also poisons targets
ITEMS
Lumison
Lumison is dropped from luminous deer, and is equievilent to steak in terms of nutrition and saturation. However, when consumed, it will give the consumer Glowing for 1 and a half minutes
Luminous Deer Antlers
Dropped from luminous deer, they are currently only used to make Alturite equipment
Q&A
Q: Fabric?
A: No. I don't port my mods to fabric anymore unless i previously supported them, like with Wolfys Extra Expansion
And if you want the full version..
I don't support fabric on my newer mods due to limitations imposed by the software i use, and the fact that i also mod for myself, and choose to upload my mods to the public. If i simply continued to support fabric, then most likely, all my new mods wouldn't exist because of said limitations. So either way, you're not missing out on anything, are you?
Q: Will you below/above 1.19.2?
A: No. Porting versions is buggy, annoying and generally unenjoyable. Modding is my passion project. If i dont enjoy modding, i won't mod.
Q: Can i use this in my modpack?
A: Sure, You can give credit if you want, but i won't enforce it.
